Widening the View on Recovery

Soil is the solid foundation from which experienced-based services are nourished and provided from a recovery-oriented thought basis. Soil represents the growth medium for recovery in its broadest sense.  Without soil, there is no growth.

Recovery is not just a state of mind. It's a way of life sourced from your heart.  In my experience, recovery is not static or even confined to substance addiction. Recovery can be found through many doors—the door of addiction just happens to be wide open.

Once acquired, recovery requires regular maintenance and is often hard won through suffering and surrendering. Recovery requires living by principles rather than counting on just your personality and preferences. It requires remembering who you really are and who you want to be in this lifetime. Recovery is a journey not a destination.
